Furthermore, in recent years, the GKNF hosted conferences for Korean nurses in New York (2010) and Chicago (2012), in collaboration with New York Korean Nurses Association and Chicago Korean Nurses Association, respectively. In 2013, the GKNF had the Global Health and Leadership Conference celebrating its 10th Anniversary in Seoul, Korea and provided a 2-day nurse leadership camp in Cheju Island as an additional program after the conference. It is also exciting to mention that the GKNF has been approved as a non-governmental organization (NGO) under Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2014. As an NGO, the GKNF is committed to making significant contributions to advancing nursing profession and global health.
